After School Lacrosse - Fall 2008
After School Lacrosse is a program for youth lacrosse where the boys and girls of all levels can come and play. There will be four separate locations on four different days including Waukesha, Brookfield, Hartland and the Northshore. This is geared for youth lacrosse players in grades 4-8. This weekly program runs for six weeks starting Monday, September 15th. Early registration is encouraged. Format includes warm up and then lacrosse games including Chumash and regular lacrosse. All experience levels are welcome. Cost is $75 per person. Check location and sign up online or by mail. Equipment is available for rental. Required gear includes a helmet, gloves, arm pads, shoulder pads, mouth guard and stick (cup is recommended)for boys; stick, mouthguard and goggles for girls. Oconomowoc Fall Lacrosse Clinic
Sunday, September 20th from 1:00 - 3:00 PM in Oconomowoc. Clinic for new and aspiring lacrosse players will be held at Champion Field, located on 425 W. Jefferson Street. All ages are welcome. Equipment will be available. Complete attached registration form and return to address shown or bring with you. On site registration available. Cost: $35.
US Lacrosse Coaches Clinic
US Lacrosse and Wisconsin Lacrosse Federation will be hosting a boy's & girl's lacrosse coaches clinic for all lacrosse coaches from youth to college. Saturday, November 8th, 9:00-4:00 PM at the University School of Milwaukee in Stoughton, WI. Check in at 8:30 AM. Emphasis will be placed on the "Positive Coaching Alliance" philosophy and understanding the role of the coach as well as strong basic fundamentals. Lunch will be provided during the hour break.
Level I of the Coaches Education Program is targeted at youth and high school coaches who have limited or no experience coaching lacrosse, or experienced coaches who have an interest in strengthening their coaching foundation and knowledge base. It is recommended that participants take the online course prior to this clinic. This program is part of the Lacrosse Coaching Certification process through US Lacrosse.
You must be a US Lacrosse member to register.
This program is part of the Level Certification required by MAYLA and WLF for all coaches. Interested parents and team administrators are encouraged to aattend as well. Cost for the program and materials is $65. Participants are encouraged to take the US Lacrosse CEP Level 1 online course prior to the course. US Lacrosse will have a staff person available to take walk-up registration at the clinic. Cost will be $85 for walk-ups. No discount for the online course.

Please bring a lacrosse stick and mouth guard. Afternoon will be spent outdoors or indoors on the gym floordepending on the weather. Please bring gym shoes. This program is sponsored by the Wisconsin Lacrosse Federation and US Lacrosse.
Fall Clinics
Fall Clinics will run on Saturday or Sunday, from September 13th to November 1st. They are typically one to two hours in length. They will be held in various locations. Clinics are co-ed and open to boys and girls grades 3 to 12. Parents are welcome to participate as well.
Lacrosse combines the best of basketball, hockey and soccer. Hot4Lax staff instructs the boys and girls in stick handling, dodging, shooting and defense. The emphasis is on individual skill development, learning the rules and sportsmanship. We include fun contests and scrimmages. Free loaner equipment will be available. Players should bring their own water bottles. Participants will receive a clinic shirt and solid fundamental coaching. Cost:$35 per clinic.
Equipment: All participants are required to wear the appropriate protective gear. For boys this includes gloves, helmet, arm pads, shoulder pads, mouth guard, cup and stick. For girls this includes stick, mouth guard, eye protection. Free loaner equipment will be available.
