Referee Opportunities

Referees needed for Spring lacrosse throughout Milwaukee. Clinics for certification will be conducted in January.

Robin Buckley
Robin has been involved in the growth of lacrosse in the Milwaukee area since he moved here in 1997. One of the founding members of the Milwaukee Lacrosse Club, Milwaukee Area Youth Lacrosse Association and the Wisconsin Lacrosse Federation-Wisconsin Chapter of U.S. Lacrosse, Robin's goal is to help grow the nation's oldest sport throughout the greater Milwaukee area. Robin has been playing lacrosse since 1982 when he made the transition to lacrosse attending school in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. He played three years of high school lacrosse and was a four-year starter at Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois. Since graduating in 1989, Robin has been involved playing club lacrosse and coaching at all levels. Through his fifteen years experience coaching youth, high school and college lacrosse, Robin invokes a solid fundamental approach to the game of lacrosse, an understanding of the history of the game and a positive experience to all the players.

"Stick skills are the key to a good lacrosse player. They should be worked on outside of practice, so you can work all the other parts of the game during practice."

Mike O'Dwyer
The most recent addition to the Hot4Lax coaching staff, Mike is a native of Libertyville, Illinois. Mike played four years of attack at Libertyville High School. He played college lacrosse at Ohio Wesleyan University, and club lacrosse at Florida State University. A recent transplant to the Milwaukee area, Mike plays both indoor and outdoor lacrosse with the Milwaukee men's club team. In his free time, Mike barefoot water-skis. Throughout the summer Mike can also be seen putting on water-ski shows with the Muskego Waterbugs Ski Show Team on Wednesday nights at Little Muskego Lake's Idle Isle Park.
